What is the Blue Bag Program?
Manchester Department Public Works (DPW) provides blue trash bags to those that wish to collect litter throughout the public right-of-way in Manchester. Individuals or organizations may participate in litter collection, and DPW will coordinate collection and disposal of the bags, so you do not have to!
Get Your Blue Bags
Blue bags are available for the purpose of this program, litter collection only. In order to obtain blue bags, you must provide an estimated number of bags needed for cleanup and come to 475 Valley Street in order to receive the bags.
Pick Up Litter
Litter must be collected on Manchester's public right-of-way in order to be eligible for collection. All bags must be left roadside, so that they are accessible for city personnel to coordinate collection.
Call for Pickup
After you have completed the litter clean-up, call DPW Dispatch at (603) 624-6444 with the location of the blue bags.
