Paving on Cohas Ave and Island Pond Rd

GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works, will commence paving works on Cohas Ave. from S. Mammoth Rd. to Old Cohas Ave., and on Island Pond Rd. from Cohas Ave. to Brickett Rd. The paving is scheduled to commence on July 18, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During the paving process, the section between S. Mammoth Rd. and Old Cohas Ave. will have limited access. We recommend using Island Pond Rd. as a detour.

We kindly ask that you plan your activities accordingly, avoid the construction zone when possible, and consider using alternate routes.

Detour routes will be in place to guide traffic during the construction period. While we aim to minimize disruptions, please be prepared for potential delays in accessing your property.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our community's infrastructure.

Roadway Construction- Young St. , Cilley Rd. and Jewett St.

GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works, will be reconstructing Young St. from Taylor St. to Somerville St. and Cilley Rd. from Belmont St. to Jewett St. and Jewett St. from Somerville St. to Young St. The work is scheduled to begin on July 15, 2024, and will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The project is expected to last approximately +/- 6 weeks.

GMI Asphalt LLC, the Department of Public Works contractor, is scheduled to reconstruct Wilson St. from Green St. to Hanover St, beginning on  05/03/2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This reconstruction project is estimated to last approximately +/- 5 weeks. We kindly request that you plan your activities accordingly, avoid the construction zone when possible, and consider alternate routes.

Please note that parking on Wilson St. will be limited during the designated work hours.
