New Hampshire state law requires you to notify the DMV within 10 days of a change in your address, so that the proper address appears on your vehicle registration and driver license records.
If you have moved to Manchester from another NH City/Town OR from another State:
You must complete and sign an address change form and submit it prior to registering your vehicle (s). The form is also available at the Tax Collector's Office. An original signature is required, so faxed or emailed forms cannot be accepted.
See the New Residents page for information on the requirements and documents needed to register your vehicle.
If you have moved from Manchester to another city or town in New Hampshire:
You must contact the Town Clerk or Tax Collector in your new town to register your vehicle. You cannot register with the City of Manchester even if you have received a renewal notice.
If you have moved from Manchester to another state:
You must contact the DMV in your new state for information regarding the registration of your vehicle and a new driver’s license. You cannot register with the City of Manchester even if you have received a renewal notice.
