The Zoning Ordinance Steering Committee plays an important role in creating a final draft of the Zoning Ordinance. With support from the Manchester Planning and Community Development Department, the Steering Committee will provide their unique insights to make policy decisions that set the direction of the final draft. 

The Steering Committee consists of two Manchester Aldermen, one Planning Board Member, one Zoning Board Member, one member of the Heritage Commission, one member of the Housing Commission, and four citizens from the general public selected by Mayor Ruais. The Steering Committee members are outlined below:

The first meeting of the Steering Committee was held in early July. Regular meetings will occur approximately once a month. They will be available to the public and posted on the PCD calendar for reference.
