Parks and Recreation Facilities and Amenities |
Downtown Parks
Downtown parks are Landscaped Commons and squares, passive parks, cultural institutions and activity centers. |

Neighborhood Parks
Neighborhood Parks are city recreational facilities with playgrounds, basketball and/or tennis courts and athletic fields, which serve a particular neighborhood area and its population. |

School Parks
School parks are city recreational facilities which are located on or adjacent to schools and which serve the local neighborhood and its population. |

Citywide Parks
Citywide Parks are regional, multipurpose parks and natural areas which serve the entire City population. |

Riverfront Parks
Riverfront Parks are open space, bike and pedestrian trails along the City’s waterways envisioned as linear connections between parks and a greenbelt for the City. |
